12. My experience in Porto (Published on 06/02/2012 by Ratima Suntornnond)
"Ola, everyone! My name is Ratima Suntornnond (Get) , a 4th year student majoring in Chemical engineering TEPE programme (Thammasat English Programme of Engineering). Since I was awarded a LOTUS scholarship within Erasmus Mundus Action 2, I have done project about plant design, bioengineering lab and lecture about renewable energy at University of Porto, Portugal. Since I have been here, I gain a lot of new experience. I have to face with new culture, environment and people. Here I have some Thai senior who help and support me a lot. Furthermore, my coordinator (Ms.Ana Paiva) here is very kind. She helped me for everything includind my visa, bank account ,some important documents and also give me a lot of advice. Even though, some of Portuguese cannot speak English but they are always willing to help and very kind. By the way, the most important thing is you will get a good experience and new friend from manys country around the world. In University of Porto, there are around 47 countries come to study here. Then, you can exchange your culture and story with them. I would love to say that this is one of the most memorable experience that I will never forget. Thank you for this great opportunity."
